Boris is a cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital and the Center for Advanced MRI, University of Auckland. He returned to Auckland after senior fellowships in cardiac imaging at Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA) and congenital heart disease at McGill University Health Center (Montreal, Canada). Boris has recently partnered his research interest in developing new MRI techniques to assess cardiac function with the Auckland Bioengineering Institute.
