Elle Pendrick is an adult living with complex congenital heart disease and a five-time open-heart surgery survivor. She contributed to the development and implementation of Australia's first National Action Plan for Childhood Onset Heart Disease and the Australian National Standards for Care for Childhood-onset Heart Disease, focusing on mental health and neurodevelopmental standards. Formerly a Director of the Board of HeartKids, Elle has been a strong voice for the CHD community. In 2023, she founded Adulting Well, a platform empowering and educating adults with CHD through online courses, blogs, speeches, and workshops. She also authored 'Your Ultimate Surgery Success Guide,' a groundbreaking patient resource. Elle holds a Master of International Health and a Bachelor of Arts and has extensive experience in the Australian Public Service, including as a Ministerial Advisor.
