Prof. Gary Sholler AM

Gary is a paediatric and fetal cardiologist, academic and researcher who has had longstanding involvement with both clinical services and clinical service development.
He has and continues to work across several development projects in clinical care, with a focus nationally and internationally. He is on the Executive of the Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society, and the Steering Committee of GlobalARCH working towards a World Health Assembly resolution focussed on congenital heart disease.
Gary has led development of the Australian National Standards of Care for Childhood-onset Heart Disease as Co-Chair, and now Chair of the CoHD Standards Committee. He is part of the Steering Group for the Australian National Action Plan for Congenital Heart Disease, and is a non-executive director of Heartkids Australia.
